A POLICEMAN who supported the family of missing university chef Claudia Lawrence has been charged with possessing indecent images of children.
Paul Beckwith had sat beside Claudia's father Peter as he appealed to the public for help in finding his daughter five days after she vanished in 2009 aged 35.
The family liaison officer, who later led a Remembrance parade in 2023, was immediately suspended from his duties when he was arrested last year.
