MORGAN LAKE became the first British woman to break two metres in the high jump and called her feat “amazing”.

And she is brimming with belief before next month’s World Championships in Tokyo after finishing third in the Diamond League final.
Lake, right, won the London Diamond League in July with a 1.96m, but she leapt higher still in Zurich yesterday as Australia’s Nicola Olyslager won in a world lead 2.04m.
