LADYBIRDS are being seen in “very high numbers” this year due to the warm weather, an expert has said — after a swarm stopped play at Lord's.
The influx brought a halt to Thursday's first day of play in the third Test between England and India. England's astonished vice-captain Ollie Pope said: “I've never seen that. That’s a first.”
