Lad aged 14 is stabbed to death on bus

A TEENAGE boy has been stabbed to death on a bus in what police described as a "horrendous crime".

The 14-year-old was attacked in Woolwich, South-East London, yesterday afternoon.

He died at the scene shortly after paramedics from London Ambulance Service and the air ambulance arrived, said the Met Police.

Speaking at the scene, Superintendent Louise Sargent said: "Our thoughts at this time are with the victim's family and friends.
