TRIPLE killer Kyle Clifford tricked his way into his former lover’s home after telling her mother he was “just dropping off some stuff”, a court heard.

Clifford was repeatedly caught on camera the day he shot Louise Hunt and her sister Hannah with a crossbow after stabbing their mum Carol.

Cambridge Crown Court jurors were shown CCTV of him parking near the family home in Bushey, Herts, and knocking at the door.

Carol, 61, wife of BBC racing commentator John Hunt, answered the door and audio was recorded of Clifford, 26, saying he was “dropping off some of Louise’s stuff”.

She asked Clifford how he was and he replied: “I’m good, thank you. What’s wrong? You look like...” Mrs Hunt responded: “I’ve seen a ghost.”

Prosecutors said Clifford deceived Mrs Hunt to get into the house and then took a 10in butcher’s knife from his backpack to kill her. Clifford was recorded saying he had a card “to say bye” and items to return.
