Family chooses image from emotional video

A JOYFUL family photograph recalling the end of Princess Kate's chemotherapy has been used on the Waleses' 2024 Christmas card.

The picture is taken from a deeply personal video, released by the family in September, bearing the message: "Out of darkness can come light."

Kate, 42, spoke to the cameras about her relief that her cancer treatment was over in the video and sent support to other patients.

Posting the card online, Kensington Palace said: "Wishing everyone a very happy Christmas."

The relaxed shot of the family shows their arms wrapped around each other in a rural spot.
