Junior doctors revel in strikes over Christmas

A GROUP of junior doctors have joked about how strike dates announced over Christmas will extend their festive holiday.
Leaked WhatsApp messages from a group of medics seen by the Daily Express show the young workers gloating that the industrial action announced yesterday will allow them to take unpaid time off.
Junior doctors in England will walk out from 7am on December 20 to 7am on December 23, and from 7am on January 3 to 7am on January 9.
The strike in January is six full days thought to be the longest single period of industrial action in the history of the health service.
