Judi's fears for theatre future

DAME Judi Dench has admitted she fears for the future of theatre.

The acting legend, 91, says modern technology has contributed to a decline in interest and it means the younger generations will miss out on a lot.

Dame Judi, who first took to the stage in 1957, said: “With the onset of social media and a marked lack of interest in the arts, I fear that the younger generations won't have the benefit or interest in the theatre like we all had.”
