Jude Law joins protests over 'ugly' 45-home plan

JUDE Law has backed a protest over plans to build housing close to his old junior school — calling the proposals a “strain on a wonderful old village”.

Developer Acorn Property Group wants to convert the car park at Blackheath station, South London into 45 homes. The redevelopment would reduce the 162-space car park to 17 spaces.

But locals fear the negative effects the homes could have on the Blackheath Conservation Area — which was one of the first in the capital.
