ISIS DEATH CULT BACK ON STREETS OF SYRIA

CHILLING images have emerged of gun-toting fighters wearing Islamic State symbols back on the streets of the Middle East.

Photos show black and white emblems used by the ISIS terror group being brazenly displayed across Syria after the fall of President Bashar al-Assad last month. Frightening accounts of civilian beheadings and other executions echo the tactics used by the death cult. Middle East expert Gonul Tol said that there is "absolutely" a danger ISIS of re-establishing itself during the power struggles in Syria.

She stressed: "It's already been happening." A source in the capital Damascus reported a rise in support for the terrorists within the country's new ruling group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham.

They told the Express: "I've seen HTS fighters with ISIS symbols and flags being flown from cars. A lot of different groups came under the flag of HTS to get rid of Assad - no doubt some are Islamic State to their core."

One picture, taken in Idlib in northwest Syria, shows an armed and masked fighter wearing a badge used by ISIS, staring at the camera.

Another shows an unarmed man kneeling in front of combatants, one of whom is wearing the ISIS emblem, while a third photo depicts a fighter happily posing with his weapon - with the terror symbol on his chest.
