Iran warns it will strike Israel if peace talks fail

IRAN has warned Israel that only a full and permanent ceasefire in Gaza will delay it launching a retaliatory strike.
Israeli airstrikes yesterday killed at least 17 people, including five children and their parents. But ceasefire talks due to start today look likely to fall through.
Whitehall officials said they were working "around the clock" to keep Britons in the region safe amid the threat of war.
Tehran has vowed to retaliate against Israel for the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Iran. Israel has not confirmed its involvement.
