Struggling in the tail-end of winter? Book a trip for March to lift your spirits.
The last few weeks have been particularly drizzly, so you'd be forgiven for dreaming of escaping to sunnier climates. The good news is that there are plenty of beautiful destinations enjoying warm and balmy weather in March - and for those who aren't tied to school holiday dates, it can also be a budget-friendly time to go away. To give you a helping hand we've put together a guide to some of this month's best hot and sunny destinations.
THE CARIBBEAN

Basically, ideal conditions if you want to make the most of those ridiculously beautiful Caribbean beaches or explore the islands' rich cultures, charming towns and the many historic landmarks.
MEXICO
Cancun and Tulum are well worth having on your radar if you're after holidays full of beautiful beaches, vibrant nightlife and luxurious hotels.
Temperatures in March tend to average around 29C in the daytime, while in the evening the balmy temperatures are ideal if you fancy eating outside, or exploring Cancun's iconic strip with its bustling bars and clubs.
