Former top prosecutor calls for probe into toxic influencer

MISOGYNISTS’ “poster boy” Andrew Tate should be “held accountable” if his content is found to encourage violence against women, a former director of public prosecutions has said.

Jilted triple killer and rapist Kyle Clifford’s sickening crimes were found to have been fuelled by the “violent misogyny promoted” by Tate.

He searched for the toxic influencer’s podcast less than 24 hours before a deadly revenge attack in which he raped and murdered his ex Louise Hunt, 25, daughter of BBC racing commentator John Hunt, with a crossbow last July.

He used the same weapon to kill her sister Hannah, 28, and stabbed their mum Carol, 61, to death.
