I tried Dua Lipa's £799 wonderful compression boots

The lymphatic drainage massage device may be expensive, but the singer says it's "the best thing in the world" - so could it also work for me too?

Pop star Dua Lipa knows a thing or two about looking and feeling great. Constantly on tour around the world, performing to hundreds of thousands of fans, she has access to the top health and beauty hacks to help her to stay looking and feeling her best.

So when she spoke about her new compression boots during an interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, I was all ears.

She said: “I have recently bought these compression boots. They go all the way up to here [pointing to her thigh], you press a button and they squeeze the life out of you. It’s the best thing in the world and it'll save you doing a foot massage.”

The 30-year-old singer loves them so much she even brings them with her on tour. So why are they so good?

Compression boots are air-filled sleeves for your feet, legs, and sometimes thighs that fill with air in sequence to apply pressure, mimicking a lymphatic drainage massage. Wearing them is said to help reduce swelling, flush out metabolic waste and lactic acid, increase circulation, and alleviate muscle soreness by encouraging oxygen-rich blood flow and promoting lymphatic drainage.
