PENALTIES PUNCTURE LEWIS' BID
LEWIS HAMILTON knows his Qatar Grand Prix could only have been worse if he had failed to finish.
He finished outside the points in 12th after his race was ruined by a puncture and two penalties.
Both were the result of his mistakes as he jumped the start then sped in the pit lane two incidents which sandwiched his tyre bursting when he ran over a pile of debris.
His evening in Losail was so terrible that, in commentary, Jenson Button was worried his old McLaren team-mate might not turn up in Abu Dhabi on Friday for his Mercedes farewell.
But Hamilton, right, will be there and said: "I don't think we will end on a high. It will just end.
"What's important is that we turn up and give it our best shot.
Hopefully, it will be a much better weekend than the last few weekends.
"I will go in with low hopes and hope to come out with a better result.
