MATHEUS NUNES is not short on confidence after sealing the biggest move of his career.

And it is a good job because the Portuguese international will need as much of the stuff as possible as he settles into life at Manchester City.

A £53million price tag will bring its own pressures. But Nunes' greatest challenge will be adapting to the demands of head coach Pep Guardiola to earn a regular place in his all-conquering team.

And considering the likes of Rodri, Mateo Kovacic, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden and Jack Grealish stand between him and his target, it will be a big one for Guardiola's last signing of the summer.
