Half of us don't halt for lunch
Daily Express
|July 10, 2025
MORE than half of staff do not always stop for a lunch break because they are too busy or feel guilty about stepping away from their desk.
Just 36% of 2,000 full-time employees take time to eat every day, with 13% admitting they do so only once a week.
Of those who skip their break, 59% have too much on to leave while 45% eat at a desk.
