But until fairly recently, traditional British beer drinkers tended to turn their noses up at anything that felt a bit different. That’s clearly no longer the case. Having started to appear on our shelves over the past decade or so, fruit-flavoured beers - often associated on the continent with after-sports drinking - have become one of the UK’s fastest-growing beer trends.
