ST George’s Crosses have been painted on a mini-roundabout, zebra crossings and give-way lines in Essex as people continue to put up flags around the country.

The seemingly patriotic display in Colchester follows protests outside the Bell Hotel which was housing asylum seekers in the same county and has divided opinion.
