Finding tumour in my gut made me transform my life

AFTER a health battle changed his life, William Chase has admitted feeling guilty for previously supplying tons of crisps to customers.

The Tyrrells founder said the discovery of a 1.6in growth transformed his physical and mental health: "Five years ago, I had my big critical move. I had sold Tyrrells and I thought I could start distilling my crops into gin and vodka.

"I probably drank too much of it. Like wine, I love it and good ultra-processed food. Just before Covid, I had a 4cm tumour in my gut. I underwent surgery to have part of my colon removed...then you do take [health] seriously.
