Whether or not it will be smooth sailing at Everton’s new ground on Bramley-Moore Dock remains to be seen — but there is definitely excitement.

Saturday’s last test event — a first-team game with Roma and a legends match — serves as the last attempt to weed out any issues before they cut the ribbon for real against Brighton in the Premier League on Sunday, August 24.
The cleaners are making sure everything is spotless but there may be issues, not least with travel.
