EDDIE HOWE says he is "immune" to the pressure and criticism surrounding three-game Newcastle's losing run.

The Geordies kick off a big 11 days against Brentford today, looking to quell the first signs of criticism and scrutiny of tactics and performances for 18 months.

The 3-1 defeat by Brighton two weeks ago was lacklustre and, after a smooth rise to the top four last season, the Toon have hit a bump.

That has led to debates over team selection, new signings and the form of star men such as Bruno Guimaraes, right.

But Howe said: "I am not feeling it, I am not hearing it. I only feel my emotions.
