Dame Tanni: I had to crawl off train with no staff to help

BRITAIN'S greatest Paralympian was forced to drag herself off a train because no staff were available to assist her despite a legal obligation to do so.
Wheelchair-bound Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson had to "crawl off" a London North Eastern Railway service at London's King's Cross.
The multi-gold-winning Paralympian, now a peer, was so incensed at being left stranded on Monday night's service from Leeds she chronicled her plight with a series of posts on X.
After waiting for help, she sent a despairing message to the operator, saying: "Who do I need to call to get off this train?"
