Createc secures a future for jobs

INNOVATIONS protecting people and equipment from harm are at the forefront of global concerns and for British technology firm Createc, that's translating into strong growth and new jobs.

“Everything we do is focussed on the defensive aspect of defence and security,” states product and strategy director Rosie Richardson. “From robots for chemical cleanup to software that supports terrorism detection, we tackle some major safety challenges using cutting-edge solutions”.

Based in Cockermouth, amid Cumbria’s scenic splendours, the company founded in 2005 is projecting a £10million turnover for this year. Self-funding and grants have provided the overall investment and Createc, which also has offices in Tokyo, Oxford and Oslo, is a member of national trade body the ADS Group (Aerospace, Defence and Security wwwadsgroup.org.uk) “which forms a very important contacts bridge for a small company like ours,’ says Richardson.
