STRICTLY Come Dancing winner Chris McCausland has been credited with saving the show after its summer of scandal while he laughs his way to the bank to the tune of £1million.

Chris, the saviour of Strictly

TV executives are said to be lining up the show's comic, and first blind contestant, for acting and presenting roles as tickets to his UK tour sell out fast.

Strictly viewers fell in love with Chris, 47, whose stand-up gigs have been called Yonks - because of how long he has been doing them. His joyous "journey" with pro Dianne Buswell followed complaints from former contestants about abusive behaviour from other pros in previous series.
