Watson expects his old clubs to go for next title

TONIGHT'S showdown at Villa Park is not just a clash between sides pushing for Champions League places.
It is a match-up between two teams who will be title contenders next season.
That is the bold prediction of Steve Watson, who played for both Newcastle and Aston Villa in a career of 351 Premier League appearances.
Watson, now manager of Northern League North side Darlington, has seen enough of the pair to believe they are primed to challenge the elite.
The 51-year-old, part of Kevin Keegan's entertainers in the mid-nineties, said: "The balance of power is shifting.
