Foreign Secretary’s pressure on Netanyahu
DAVID Cameron has told Israel's PM there must be an "immediate pause in the fighting" in Gaza - and urged him towards a two-state solution.
The Foreign Secretary also pressed Benjamin Netanyahu to let in more aid, as Britain and Qatar sent a consignment of tents for displaced Palestinians.
After their meeting in Lord Jerusalem on Wednesday, Cameron said yesterday: "The scale of suffering in Gaza is unimaginable.
"More must be done, faster, to help people trapped in this desperate situation.

"As I said to PM Netanyahu, far more trucks need to be able to enter Gaza and more crossings need to open.
"What I was saying is, look, it's time for an immediate pause in the fighting because we've got to not only get the aid in but, crucially, we've got to get those hostages out.
