Burned alive amid fears of Kyiv missile shortage

Olga Putyatina, 35, died clutching her baby son Pavlo, aged just 10 months. She was cowering in the bathroom with her two other children when the Russian drones hit.

Her husband Grigory died in the corridor outside.

The attack sparked fears yesterday that Ukraine was running out of Western defensive missiles.

Josep Borrell, of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, said: "Mobilising additional EU military equipment for Ukraine is my top priority.

"We must do more and we must do it faster." The overnight strike saw a number of drones smash into a petrol station in the country's second city of Kharkiv, leading to a massive explosion. Olga, a state prosecutor, was on maternity leave.

She had been holding baby Pavlo while trying in vain to protect her other two children Oleksiy, seven, and Mykhailo, three.
