Britain looks to Sweden's ready-to-use care model

CARE sector leaders have urged the Government to study Sweden to help solve the UK's crisis.

The wealthy Scandinavian nation is seen as a world-class example of how an ageing population can be looked after without fleecing families of their life savings.

It offers top facilities to the most needy, most of whom remain at home, for just £170 a month.

Britain's system has seen people needing help forced to pay eyewatering sums and sell homes.
