Bleeping heck! Detectorist finds bucket-list treasure

METAL detectorist Steve Dean hit the jackpot and ticked off a bucket-list ambition when he unearthed a valuable Roman coin hoard.
Steve, 68, and pals Glenn Church and Ed Denovan found the trove under a farmer's field near Maidstone, Kent.
They were an hour into their search when they discovered a few scattered coins, which led them to a large stash in a broken pot 14 inches underground.
It is thought to have been damaged by ploughing, spreading the haul around.
