Blade taken into school ...by a child aged four

A CHILD as young as four was recorded taking a blade into school in the latest shocking incident of Britain's knife crime epidemic.

The incident involving the reception-age pupil - the youngest age a child can attend school - was logged by police in Kent.

Officers responded to the incident at the school and the offence was recorded as “assault with injury - malicious wounding”.

As the child was under the age of criminal responsibility, another body or agency intervened.
