Bill to clear 'tax evader' graffiti at Rayner's flat

A RESIDENT paid a £150 bill for the council to remove graffiti saying “tax evader” and “b****” from a wall outside Angela Rayner’s seafront home.

The vandalism appeared at the ex-deputy prime minister’s £800,000 flat in Hove, East Sussex, last month after she admitted failing to pay enough stamp duty on the property.

A Freedom of Information Act request to Brighton and Hove City Council revealed the cleanup fee.
