Brits hail club for helping realise their Paris dreams

WHEN Georgia Bell was asked to name the biggest reason behind her stratospheric rise, there was no hesitation.

"I'm part of the best training programme in the world," the 1500m bronze medallist said last week. "Having world-class support is what got me here."

It has been quite the Games for Trevor Painter and Jenny Meadows, right, the husband and wife behind M11 Track Club. One medal was expected but three were beyond their wildest dreams.

For Meadows, the taste of redemption must feel so sweet after her career was blighted by competitors later popped for doping, denying her numerous medals.
