Bake Off victory is just what the doctor ordered

WINNING the Great British Bake Off was the icing on the cake for medical student Jasmine Mitchell.

The 23-year-old overcame Tom Arden and Aaron Mountford-Myles in the final, broadcast last night.

Judge Paul Hollywood hailed Jasmine a worthy winner and said: “She is the best one we have had for a while.”

In the final, which was filmed in the summer, the three contestants made the largest cake in the show's history.
