Asylum seeker 'danced and laughed after stabbing hotel worker to death at station'

AN asylum seeker “danced and laughed” after stabbing a hotel worker 23 times, a court heard.

Sudanese Deng Chol Majek left Rhiannon Skye Whyte, 27, for dead after attacking her with a screwdriver.

And he was “clearly excited about what he had done”, jurors were told at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

Eleven stab wounds penetrated Ms Whyte’s skull, one of which damaged the brain stem, causing her death three days later. She never regained consciousness, the court heard.
