Are tiny blisters on my hands and feet signs of psoriasis?

I've developed painful pus-filled tiny blisters on the palms of my hands and the soles of my feet. I thought I had an infection as the skin around the blisters was red.

But the antibiotics my GP prescribed didn't help, and when I went back she brought in another GP to have a look. He thought it was psoriasis. Does this sound likely to you? I thought psoriasis caused scaly skin.
