'Andrew's got a lot of explaining to do'

PRINCE Andrew has reportedly locked himself away after being left reeling by unsealed documents detailing his links with dead sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The Duke of York - said to have held hopes of returning to public life two years after being stripped of his titles - has apparently been unable to venture out since bombshell allegations were made.

"He doesn't have the emotional bandwidth to deal with this," a source said. "He has locked himself away in a room and has no idea how to respond. He's devastated." The furore surrounding Andrew, who is eighth in line to the throne, shows no sign of abating after hundreds of documents were made public last week.

They were released as part of a long-settled civil defamation case filed by Andrew's sex accuser, Virginia Giuffre, against British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, 62, in New York.
