ARTIFICIAL intelligence is speeding up stroke care for thousands of patients by helping doctors spot deadly clots in just minutes.
The Brainomix 360 imaging tool reviews CT scans, identifying key stroke features to quickly identify which patients would benefit from a clot-removal procedure.
It has been rolled out at more than 70 NHS hospitals since January 2022.
A study found around 15,000 patients have had their scans checked with the technology.
