26C heatwave... and then snow!

TALK about blowing hot and cold... temperatures could spike at 26C tomorrow but snow is not far behind.

Forecasters say the South East and East Anglia will enjoy the best of the hot snap and the Midlands and the East Coast up to Humberside are also in for a treat.

However, weather charts suggest that by Monday, snow showers could fall on higher ground in Scotland’s Cairngorms.

It highlights the volatility of this year’s autumn weather, as sunshine, heavy rain and cold air systems jostle for position.
