Template set for top-two spot now, says boss

FRANK Lampard says his Coventry City players have set the “template” for the final 14 games of the season after a superb return to top form against automatic promotion rivals Middlesbrough.
Sky Blues boss Frank Lampard
A Haji Wright hat-trick sent the Sky Blues back to the head of the Championship by a single point after taking all three against Boro who travelled the CBS Arena on the back of a six-game winning streak.
City dominated the first half and grabbed a deserved lead to take into the break. They then weathered a second half fightback and scored a second from a route-one kick from the keeper and brilliant finish from the USA international who converted his third from the penalty spot to take the sting out of the visitors’ momentum after they had pulled the scoreline back to 2-1.
Reflecting on his side’s 3-1 victory and return to form in style, Lampard said: “Yeah, it was a big game, right, and a really good game of football I think, too, and probably showed why we're one and two in the league from both sides.
