HOSPITAL BOSSES SAY SORRY AFTER LOW PERFORMANCE RANKING

HEALTH bosses have apologised to patients and staff of University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) Trust after it was ranked in the bottom three of the NHS performance tables.
In the figures, from September, it was rated 132nd out of 134 acute trusts across England.
The Coventry City Council health and social care scrutiny board meeting, which will be held at the hospital, chief strategy and transformation officer Justine Richards will give an update on the Trust's response to the publication of the National Oversight Framework (NOF) which includes the league tables. She is also due to outline planned improvements.
