Homes on ex school site set for go-ahead
Coventry Telegraph
|November 13, 2025
HOMES on a former Nuneaton school site are set to be given the go-ahead despite more than a dozen concerns being raised.
Outline planning permission has already been given for last remaining parts of what was Manor Park School to be bulldozed to pave the way for new housing and a care home.
Now detailed plans for first phase of the development, for 46 dwellings to be made up of a mix of two storey detached, semidetached and terraced properties as well as 8, two story flats, are set to be approved.
This is despite concerns being raised by some locals.
A council planning paper reveals that there are nine objections raised to the plans including concerns raised in relation to start and completion dates of work and proposed working hours, who will be housed on the site and claims that it will lead to reduced access for vehicles and increased traffic.
