ONE YEAR AFTER TAKING CHARGE, LAMPS SEES RUNAWAY LEADERS SCORCH TO 50 GOALS IN 18 GAMES

COVENTRY City are set to be without leading scorer Brandon Thomas-Asante until the New Year after it was confirmed that the forward has a torn hamstring.

The Sky Blues were without the 26-year-old - who leads the Championship scoring charts on ten goals with Derby's Carlton Morris - for their 3-1 victory over Charlton Athletic, a game in which fellow striker Haji Wright and winger Tatsuhiro Sakamoto were also ruled out with injuries.
