Community chippy in shock sudden closure

A BRANCH of a much-loved Coventry chippy has announced it’s shutting up shop.

Dhillon’s Plaice on Woodway Lane has served the Walsgrave community for almost seven years.

But the family behind the Woodway Lane outlet took to social media to tell followers the branch was now closing.

The chippy has won numerous awards down the years which proudly adorn the shop wall - including the 2023 Gold Seal for Fish and Chips in the Good Food Awards.
