AS much a fashion extravaganza as an awards show, the Oscars are the most glamorous night in the movie calendar and Hollywood's finest dressed to impress on Sunday.

Feathers were flying on the red carpet and that was even before Timothee Chalamet was snubbed for best actor. A clutch of the A-list guests adopted the trend that has been seen as all over the catwalks this season.

Teyana Taylor

Easily the finest plumed was Teyana Taylor, 35, who was nominated for best supporting actress for One Battle After Another. She was pipped to an Oscar by Weapons' Amy Madigan but won the war when it came to best dressed. Her dramatic black Chanel gown, trimmed with white feathers and crystals, even had the names of her daughters stitched into it.
