Central Somerset Gazette
|October 02, 2025
IN just under three months Axe Vale Arts has achieved official charity status.
The former Methodist Chapel in Axbridge has undergone a speedy journey to becoming an arts centre to serve the area thanks to the work of the trustees, helpers and supporters.
Trustee Peter Harding of Axbridge said: “This achievement is part of our ongoing journey, and It goes without saying that none of this would have been possible without the support from the community (including Axbridge Town Council) and the very many volunteers who have given so generously of their time and skills to help the Arts Centre come to life.
