LLANELLI Athletics Club members have been in fine form at the start of the outdoor season.

They have been busy in track and field competitions, as well as road running events across Wales and further afield.

The form of Darcy Coslett and Joseph Franklin who are both coached by Chris Franklin earned them guest appearances at the Loughborough International, recognised as the top UK curtain-raiser to the outdoor season.

Coslett ran 54.41 in the 400m which was the second-fastest time of the day, an excellent achievement as she was the youngest runner in the senior field.
