Heavy fines for teams for misconduct

SEVERAL heavy fines were imposed on teams playing in the Makhado Local Football League, during the league's disciplinary committee meeting held at the Louis Trichardt office on May 25.
In the case relating to a match between Gogobole Madrid and Madombidzha Angry Lion, Madrid were found guilty of assaulting the referee and causing the abandonment of the match. They were fined R4 000 and forfeited the points to Lion.
Mutsha United Brothers were found guilty of causing the abandonment of their match against Makumbane Hunters. A fine of R2 000 was imposed and Brothers forfeit three points to their opponents.
