US ceasefire announcement to internationalise issues concerning India, Pak, alleges Cong

The Congress on Sunday expressed surprise that the ceasefire between India and Pakistan was announced by US President Donald Trump and alleged that issues concerning the two nations is “being internationalised".

It has demanded a special session of Parliament to discuss the latest developments.
Addressing a press conference here, senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot said, "The entire situation has changed very rapidly in the last 24 hours. We were all very surprised that the ceasefire between India and Pakistan was announced by the US President."
"This is probably the first time the US President has announced a ceasefire via social media. We should also pay attention as to what he has written on his post. It is surprising that an issue which is between India and Pakistan, is being internationalised," he said.
