On July 6, 2025, the District Congress Committee organized a solemn tribute to honor the birth anniversary of the great social reformer, prominent freedom fighter, and former Deputy Prime Minister of India, Babu Jagjeevan Ram a relentless crusader for the welfare of marginalized sections of society, Babu Jagjeevan Kumar's portrait was garlanded with flowers as a mark of deep respect and homage.

The event was led by District Congress Committee President Puvvalla Durgaprasad, along with State Warehousing Corporation Chairman Rayala Nageswara Rao and other senior leaders.
